THE STRANDING Found in South Core Sound, emaciated, barnacle covered, with flesh rotting off her body, flippers in tatters, bone and lung exposed.  These sea turtles are too tough for their own good.
   
THE TREATMENT Fluids, fluids, fluids.  Antibiotics.  TLC.  Dry docked because she is too weak to lift her head to breath, she is in water a short time during the day to eat.
