| THE STRANDING |  Spotted by Janet Warren near the Hanover Seaside Club in Wrightsville Beach. She phoned the local rescue team (Nancy Fahey) but initially they were unable to retreive the turtle. Enter lifeguard Andrew Price, who, a few hours later, was able to dive in and pull the turtle from the surf. The turtle was in poor health, emaciated and weak. | THE TREATMENT |    So skinny she has worn away the scutes on her head as she lifts her head to breathe. Luckily, fattening up sick turtles is one of our specialties. |
| MAY 2006 |  A bath in May can mean just one thing. Time for weights, measurements and tags; a good physical exam and some blood work. If all goes well, Havover is out of here this summer. |
