| THE STRANDING | Rescued by the Marine Mammal
Stranding Network in New Jersey, this little Kemp's Ridley was found
with a cleanly severed right front flipper. |
| THE TREATMENT | Antibiotics, fluids and coaxed
eating were the prescibed treatment. It took two weeks, but the
little one finally started eating. |

Jersey has a chance to prove she can be
released by swimming in the big tank at the Fort Fisher aquarium. With Jersey Girl in her harness Mike gently places her in the 65,000 gallon tank.
