| THE STRANDING | Found in the ocean with a shark
bite to the carapace and plastron. Transferred by Ferry from Ocracoke in the Outer Banks to the mainland. |
| THE TREATMENT |  Wounds also extend to the plastron, not pictured. |

The wounds have healed very very
well. Ocracoke has been taken off antibiotics and loves to swim
around in his tank. |
