| THE STRANDING | Caught in a net in the
intracoastal waterway near the high-rise bridge on Topsail. While releasing the turtle from the net the fisherman noticed a large cut on her plastron.  |
| THE TREATMENT | The wound is flushed of loose
debris, then packed with antibiotic ointment. |

Her wound has healed very quickly and she
passed her physical, she is ready to go. |
